“Zen Den” at the Lewis Duel Language School

The Zen Den exhibit was a opportunity for us to give back to a community in need. It was brought to our attention that the Zen Den at the Lewis Duel Language School in Wilmington Delaware needed a re-fresh.

We all created our own visions of what we felt would create a safe, calming and positive environment for any child that needs a time in the day to self-regulate and prepare themselves to get back to their schooling.

My vision was ultimately what the school wanted to move forward with and that was really exciting for me! This project was very close to my heart as I have someone very special in my life who benefits greatly from a similar space with their schooling and at home.

I wanted to create an environment full of positive messages, interactive elements to help the kids re-enforce those messages and images that would appeal to a young audience.
